The programme was held under the motto: “There is not enough earth to bury memory – in remembrance of the heroes of Katyn, Kharkiv, Mednoye, Bykivnia and other sites yet to be discovered, on the 85th anniversary of the crime.”
On 21 March 2025, the discussion panel “Katyn – There Is Still More to Discover” brought together distinguished historians, researchers and representatives of remembrance organisations. The panel participants included: Piotr Skotnicki – Assistant Curator at the Katyn Museum; Dr Janusz Kłapeć (Military Historical Bureau in Warsaw); Piotr Greszta (John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin); Marek Splewiński – President of the Zamość Katyn Families Association.
The event was accompanied by the photographic exhibition “Katyn – Saving Memory from Oblivion” by Waldemar Leszczyński, Director of Inter-school Boarding House No. 2 in Zamość.
