Join the family game “Museum Detectives” at the Katyn Museum to celebrate Polish Armed Forces Day
To celebrate Polish Armed Forces Day, we invite children accompanied by adults, teenagers and whole families to take part in the special museum game “Museum Detectives” at the Katyn Museum!
Can you spot traces of the past where others see nothing but bricks and exhibits?
Step into the role of a detective and set off in search of clues from the past. Find objects hidden throughout the Katyn Museum’s exhibition, as well as those that can be discovered within the museum’s walls. Every object you find is another clue leading you towards the history and traditions of the Polish Armed Forces, as well as the history of this place and the stories of the people whose memory is preserved in the Museum’s collections.
Practical information
- The game is intended for families and school students aged 13–18.
- Children aged 12 and under may visit the Museum only when accompanied by an adult.
- Participants may take part individually or in teams of up to three people. Team members complete the route together.
- Start and finish: Information Point in the tent by the Nowomiejska Gate.
- Registration: with the Game Coordinator between 2.00 and 4.00 pm.
- Game hours: 2.00–5.00 pm.
Prizes:
- The winner is determined by time, based on the exact time at which the completed Game Card is handed in.
- Prizes will be awarded to the five individual participants or five teams who complete all the tasks correctly in the shortest time.
- Every participant who completes the game and hands in their Game Card will receive a guaranteed gift.
