Katyn Museum Senior Staff Attend the 15th Forum of Remembrance
On 4–5 September 2024, the 15th Seminar of Polish Martyrological Museums – Forum of Remembrance took place. This cyclical event is jointly organised by the Stutthof Museum and the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.
The Forum of Remembrance provides a platform for representatives of memorial museums and sites of remembrance from across Poland to exchange experiences and share achievements in the fields of education, academic research, conservation, and museum management. It serves as an important space for dialogue and collaboration among institutions dedicated to preserving historical memory.
The Katyń Museum was represented at this year’s forum by its Head, Sebastian Karwat, alongside Dr Bartłomiej Bydoń, Head of the Research Section, and Kacper Ciesielski, Head of the Inventories and Photographic Documentation Section.
