Patriotic and Historical Visit by Soldiers and Staff of the Regional IT Centre

On 8 September 2023, a group of soldiers and staff members of the Regional IT Centre in Warsaw took part in a patriotic and historical visit to the Katyn Museum. During the visit, participants had the opportunity to learn about the history of the massacre carried out by the NKVD against Polish citizens, including officers of the Polish Army, state officials, and members of the intelligentsia. Accompanied by the Director of the Museum, Sławomir Z. Frątczak, visitors viewed the museum exhibition, including personal mementos, photographs, and documents connected with the fate of the victims. Particular impression was made by the opportunity to explore the historic space of the Warsaw Citadel, which houses the Katyn Museum. For all participants, the visit was a valuable lesson in history and a moment of reflection on the fate of thousands of Poles who lost their lives as a result of the Katyn Massacre. The memory of these events remains our shared responsibility and an important part of national heritage.
