Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Katyn Epitaph on Police Day

On the occasion of Police Day, celebrated 17 July by the Warsaw Metropolitan Police, Inspector General Dr Rafał Kochańczyk and Inspector Dariusz Walichnowski laid flowers at the Katyn Epitaph, paying tribute to more than 6,000 officers of the pre-war Polish State Police and the Silesian Voivodeship Police who were murdered in the Katyn Massacre.
The police commanders were accompanied by Witold Głębowicz, Deputy Director of the Polish Army Museum, and Sebastian Karwat, Head of the Katyn Museum.
